About Me
Barbara Majeski, also known as Barbara Schwartz, is a philanthropist, lifestyle expert, and television personality from the United States. Her performances on NBC, ABC, Fox News, The Today Show, Inside Edition, and The Nick Cannon Show have earned her the moniker "Curator of the Good Life."
Through both high school and college, Majeski worked as an intern in human resources at Bloomberg Financial Markets while also busing tables to pay for her courses. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Health Education from Towson State University in 1996, Majeski joined an ambitious direct sales start-up in Atlanta, Georgia.
Majeski began helping Operation Smile in 2011. Majeski organized a Holocaust Memorial Event in Princeton, New Jersey, in 2015. Additionally, she received a Johnson & Johnson Global Humanitarian Award and was recognized.
FIRST LIFE
She was born in the New Jersey town of Livingston. Majeski and her brother were two sets of twins in their home. Eleanor, who was also a triplet, was familiar with the beautiful adventure that multiples promised. However, it was obvious that their journey would be unique from most when Majeski's younger brother Steven was born with special needs.
Majeski decided early on that she would devote her life to ensuring that Steven was always cared for and that he was never hospitalized. What at first appeared to be a selfless act swiftly evolved into one of the most critical choices of her life, catalyzing for her to achieve more than she ever imagined was possible and for her to prevail in the fight of her life when she might have just as easily given up. Over time, humor became their savior, and in a sense, this is just as much Majeski's narrative as it is Steven's.
CAREER
Majeski joined a start-up in Atlanta, Georgia, after earning his degree from Towson State University. She spent her twenties learning the principles of entrepreneurship, leadership, and how to expand sales teams successfully across the United States because of the position. This "cold call commission sales" phase of her life, which began with her working as a door-to-door salesperson, cultivated her business acumen by forcing her to think quickly and persevere in the face of difficulty. It gave her the discipline and mental toughness to face the challenges ahead. She began to thrive in inspiring, motivating, and educating others at this time, which brought to the fore her ability to read crowds and forge deep connections with people. It also enabled Majeski to recognize her aptitude for locating, attracting, and keeping top people in the telecommunications, internet, and technology industries. Majeski eventually assisted the business in creating solid national teams.
SOCIAL LIFE
In 2003, Majeski wed James Majeski. Gabe (born December 21, 2003), Max (born October 24, 2005), and Milena are the three children of Majeski & Majeski (born September 22, 2011). 2016 saw Majeski's divorce application.
Majeski's marriage ended in 2016, and to make matters worse, she was diagnosed with advanced-stage colon cancer and underwent six months of chemotherapy. She was completely caught off guard and had to start over. The upcoming few months would be the hardest of her life. She needed to muster her energy to get through each day since she was mentally and emotionally worn out. But in her darkest hours, she remembered Steven, his enthusiasm for life, and her commitment to him when she was a youngster. Early in life, she had been given the gift of purpose, and what would happen would only serve to demonstrate that everything that had occurred—both significant and small, seemingly insignificant changes—was simply the universe working to place her precisely where she was meant to be.
PHILOSOPHY
The saying "the more you give, the more you get" is one that Majeski firmly believes in and cannot stress enough. There will be unfathomable ways in which the cosmos works in your favor.
PHILANTHROPY
She was thriving on the philanthropic front. One of Majeski's life's high points was hosting a Holocaust Memorial event in her village to honor the last remaining Holocaust survivors. Shortly after, she received the Global Humanitarian Award and was recognized by Johnson and Johnson for her work as the Philanthropy Ambassador for Operation Smile. This worldwide initiative has always held a special place in her heart and raises much-needed funds for kids with clefts. Johnson and Johnson would later call her to offer their full support during her battle for her life. She could never have imagined how much more her work with Operation Smile would mean to her.
Majeski had been associated with Operation Smile for many years before joining the group on a humanitarian medical expedition. There, she witnessed firsthand their work and the profound effects they had on the lives of children and their families. She was so moved by what she saw that she was unable to stop wondering what could have happened if Steven had been born into a different family, one without the means or social network to offer him the support he needed. She was asked to contribute and change things. She used her network of sales teams throughout the US to fund a mission by bringing them together on the way home.
In a complete cycle, the news that Majeski had earned the Humanitarian Award for this endeavor in 2015 was widely reported. Periodicals, newspapers, and online. She had no idea she would have the chance to spread the message in 2018 after overcoming cancer. Majeski vowed that she would make it her duty to do this after recovering from her illness. Majeski understood that the only way to accomplish this would be for her to appear on television and perform her skills. She immediately hired a media coach after having her name looked up on Google and discovered a video of her giving a speech for Operation Smile. She was the ideal candidate for a position on the TODAY Show, the top-rated morning talk show because she had experience speaking in front of an audience and a strong track record of outcomes.
Second ACT of Majeski
Since her debut on the TODAY Show, Majeski has established herself as a well-known TV personality and lifestyle expert, regularly contributing to popular programs, including TODAY, Inside Edition, and Good Day New York. In addition, she was the host of the podcast Baring It All, where guests peeled back the curtain and explored the origin tales of our CEOs, influencers, and multimillionaire entrepreneurs. This has allowed her the chance to share some of the nation's most popular lifestyle hacks, tips, and techniques and her message of resiliency and hope with millions of people worldwide.
Majeski now collaborates with other driven people who want to spread their message to the globe and build a life and career they love. She helps people rewrite myths impeding their potential for plenty and happiness, empowering them to get out of their way. Her new mission is to share this blueprint with as many professionals as possible so that they can create their very own Good Life. She has spent countless hours developing her methods, processes, and systems that have helped her to create a life of joy-filled days, alignment with her purpose, and unwavering faith.
